4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

Janss Marketplace invites the public to the FREE annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular! The holiday celebration on July 4 from 5 – 9:30 p.m. features live music, family fun activities and the best viewing location in the Conejo Valley to watch the impressive fireworks show.

The distribution of guest wristbands begins at 5 p.m. on July 4 at the Information Booth near Burlington at Janss Marketplace. Early arrival is recommended as access to the shopping center’s garage rooftop is limited to 2,000 guests per Ventura County Fire Department regulations

Attendees, who can enjoy dinner or take-out from the great Janss Marketplace restaurants, can bring lawn chairs and umbrellas for shade to enjoy event activities before the fireworks begin. Kids will love the face painting and bounce house, and everyone in the family will enjoy watching the Magic Show.

The Long Run Eagles Tribute Band perform at 6:30 p.m. People will be dancing on the rooftop to the music of the legendary Eagles.

The Pie Eating Contest begins at 7:30 p.m. on the rooftop of the parking garage. The contest, with $300 prize, is open to entrants who are age 18 and older. Advance entry is recommended by sending email to [email protected] but contestants can also enter at Janss Marketplace on July 4 until 7 p.m.

The Janss Marketplace annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular is the favorite patriotic holiday in the Conejo Valley with the best viewing location to watch the Conejo Recreation and Park District and City of Thousand Oaks fireworks. Janss Marketplace is located at 275 North Moorpark Road East in Thousand Oaks, just off the 101 Freeway at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive.
