NewMark Merrill Companies Names Alex Staneski as VP of Leasing & Acquisitions in Longmont, CO; Promotes Others in Region

Longmont, CO. (Nov. 19, 2019) – NewMark Merrill Companies is pleased to announce it has named Alex Staneski as Vice President of Leasing & Acquisitions in its Longmont, Colorado office. In his role, Staneski will be responsible for developing and managing the firm’s pipeline of shopping center acquisitions, development projects and property management assignments as well as supporting the leasing efforts of the existing portfolio throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

Additionally, the firm has promoted Danaria McCoy to Vice President of Operations and Marketing, Ross Carpenter to Director of Leasing and Renatta Banning to Property and Marketing Manager. And, after 13 years at the helm of NewMark Merrill Mountain States, Allen Ginsborg will be taking a sabbatical for the first half of 2020 to volunteer abroad and travel with his wife Jeanne and daughter Jackie before she begins college. When he returns, Allen will become Chairman and Co-founder of the Mountain States office.

Staneski most recently served Assistant Vice President of Asset Management & Acquisitions for Broad Street Realty where he was responsible for managing firm’s portfolio including over one million square feet of retail space valued at over $180 million. As an established retail real estate executive, Staneksi brings a unique combination of expertise to NewMark Merrill Mountain States in all phases of acquisitions and development including negotiations, finance due-diligence, pre-development analysis and vertical project execution.

Staneski earned a master’s degree in real estate and finance from University of Colorado, Boulder.
