Yucaipa artist Allison Brown painted a mural on the side of a Riverside bank that she said will make viewers feel as if they are small people walking through a giant garden.
“You get to walk through huge flowers,” Brown said of the bright and splashy 46-foot-wide and 21-foot-tall mural on Chase Bank at University Village, down the street from UC Riverside.
Brown said she also painted a complementary mural featuring a silhouette of a woman’s face — with big flowers in her hair — next to a coffee shop in University Village. Not as big as the other, but still large, that mural is roughly 22 feet wide and 18 feet high, she said.
Brown named the pair of murals Urban Garden No. 1 and 2.
